A place steeped in history

A place steeped in history and values, the building was built in 1950 in Saint-Amand-les-Eaux to house around fifty nuns, the Augustinian Sisters, with a specific mission: to help vulnerable people in northern France and Togo.

Today, the building has been completely renovated in a sober and warm spirit, and bears the name of the Sisters who lived here.

The Béthanie Association thus continues its mission of welcoming, living, sharing, and exchange within the Maison des Augustines.

Games and relaxation in the open air

Want to share a game of pétanque or molky on our 12m x 4m pitch? Or play a game of ping pong? Don't hesitate!

Why not take a nice walk in the fresh air in the park to discover birds and other small animals? And for groups, order a "Grilled Marshmallows" or "Grilled Park Chestnuts" evening in the fall around the fire. Go to Meet our little animals: Séraphin, our Giant Papillon rabbit, Cannelle and Blanchette, our two dwarf goats, our regional chickens, and many other companions await your visit. A simple and sweet moment, perfect for reconnecting with nature!

The great outdoors makes you hungry. Enjoy our "Maison des Augustines" apple juice on the terrace with a crepe or waffle...
